Ocean Active was established by Nick Bowles in the United Arab Emirates. Nick is originally from South Africa, but has lived in the UK for some time and now in Dubai. Nick and his family have been fishing for many generations. Nick's dad fished internationally for South Africa and his grandfather caught an 886 lb marlin off a 16-foot boat. The other side of the family is from the UK and are big trout and salmon fishing enthusiasts.

Ocean Active was set up to place customers in the right area at the right time to catch the right fish, but Ocean Active also adds value to your fishing experience, through photographs, filming and guides, so that you can always remember your fishing experience through Ocean Active. Ocean Active offers additional services such as monthly newsletters, reports and press releases.
