Ocean Active is a small dedicated company that specialises in fishing charters, trips and products. We have been operating in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and the Indian Ocean Islands for the last seven years. Over the years we have built up a large international customer base from all cultures and walks of life and we pride ourselves in being able to offer a wide range of services and products for most customer requirements.

The Ocean Active team has a wide range of fishing skills and knowledge when it comes to different fishing techniques and fish species. We pride ourselves in being the first company in the Middle East to offer flyfishing being the first flyfishing retailer and outfitter along with introducing popping, jigging and drop shotting to the region. Ocean Active is also the only supplier of specialised fishing equipment for the various fishing techniques. We offer the widest and most diverse range of charters and trips in the region. We work closely with various tourism operations, business partners and NGOs to offer our clients the best possible service and options for trips, products and charters. As fishing goes charters and logistics do not always go according to plan but we will always try to come up with alternatives and options to satisfy our customers.

Ocean Active staff are mainly South African with a love for the ocean and all that lives in the ocean. We have grown up fishing and learnt to respect the beauty and power of the ocean and will always try to protect both customer and environment. We are strong believers in catch and release and maintain this throughout all of our trips and charters.
